Andy has lived in Atkinson with his wife, Sara, and three children for over 21 years. As a small business owner, he supports his family as a General Contractor doing carpentry and masonry. Gardening, family hikes, camping, hunting, fishing, boating and atv trail rides in this beautiful County will always be a part of Andy's life.
He served the Town of Atkinson as a Schoolboard member for SAD 41 and as Chairman of the Deorganization Committee. For several terms he served as the Chairman of the Piscataquis County GOP and assisted local candidates, such as Paul T. Davis Sr., in his campaigns for Representative and Senator. When the 2014 LePage Campaign set up their headquarters in Bangor, Andy worked as the office supervisor.
Having run a business in Piscataquis County, he understands the challenges of operating in rural Maine. There is an understanding of the need to conduct business without spending beyond your means, while remaining competitive. Keeping budgets in check and out of the red ink is the common sense approach to prosperity, an approach that Andy believes strongly in.
Piscataquis County has a rich heritage. In looking forward to our future, we need to protect our families, our local sovereignty, and our independence, which are so integral to that heritage. With hard work and common sense we can find ways to grow this county and make it a better place for future generations. These ethics have been a driving force in Andy's life building experience, leadership, and energy that he can bring to bear in helping his friends and neighbors build a stronger Piscataquis County.

Andy was hired as a Field Representative by the NRA-ILA during the "NO on 3" campaign. He worked hard to defend our gun rights and natural-born right to self-defense. He now volunteers as Chairman of the Moosehead Region Friends of the NRA, an organization that raises funds to support youth shooting and archery sports.
As a young man, Andy learned a strong work-ethic while working with his father logging in the Moosehead Lake region. He began earning a living as a teenager laying stone and brick in the Greenville area. Later, when he moved to the Dover-Foxcroft area, he worked with friends to learn the carpentry trade, which would later evolve into the business he runs today.
